Go Green in the City is an international case
challenge for university business and engineering
students around the world to find clever
solutions to energy management.
Schneider Electric will fly the 25 best teams to the city of light, Paris,
in June 2011 to make their final presentations in front of a VIP panel of
judges. The winning team will travel the world, stopping at Schneider
Electric offices on the way, and be offered a job.
Energy has become scarce, expensive and is undergoing a technology
revolution. Increasing needs for electrical power must be balanced with
social progress and environmental protection. As a global specialist in
energy management, Schneider Electric makes the most of energy innovation

The application process
Pair up with a team-mate to apply. Show us a creative presentation of
your team and your idea for intelligent energy management in your city.
Use any format, such as a one-minute video, two-pages of text or plenty
of pictures.
We want teams of two, at least one of whom is a woman. Universitylevel
students (2nd to final year) in Brazil, China, Germany, France,
India, Russia, Turkey and the USA are eligible to enter the competition.
The 100 best teams are guaranteed an interview for internships and
exposure to job opportunities.
