YOUNG INDIA FELLOWSHIP

The challenge is on once again to be part of India's most exciting post-graduate programme, the Young India Fellowship (YIF). Applications are open for YIF's Class of 2015 -2016, the fifth edition of the ground-breaking multi-disciplinary fellowship that is fostering India's academic, social and business leaders of tomorrow.

The Young India Fellowship (YIF) is a one-year multidisciplinary post-graduate programme in Liberal Studies & Leadership. It brings together a group of bright young men and women from across the country and diverse disciplines and trains them to become socially committed change agents for the future. It exposes them to a rich and diverse set of subjects and perspectives, delivered by some of the finest professors and teachers from India and around the world.
YIF is delivered in collaboration with University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), Carleton College and University of Michigan; King’s College, London and Sciences Po, Paris.
YIF offers full and partial scholarships to successful applicants and there is no fee for applying to the programme.

Eligibility : All departments
The YIF programme is open to all Indian citizens* with:
-A recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
-No more than three years of work experience.
-No more than 28 years of age on 31st May, 2015.
The Fellowship promotes diversity and applicants from all areas of specialisation are encouraged to apply. While applicants who have been educated in a vernacular language as their medium of instruction are welcome, it is expected that they will be able to converse, read and write in English.
*Applicants holding PIO/OCI cards are also welcome to apply.
