Internship
HumBee is India's first Political social network. As a platform for all things political, HumBee enables debates on key political issues and discovery of quality political content. It also keeps you up to date with the latest political news and helps you figure out your political alignment(where you lie on the political spectrum) and compatibility (which politicians/political parties best represent your ideas). The mobile app is currently in the beta phase. Below is the link to HumBee's Android beta.
Founder Profiles:
Jhansi: An alumus of Lady Shriram College, worked with a management consulting firm for a couple of years, before quitting to start up.
Vivek: A graduate from IIT Kharagpur, worked with Barclays-Singapore and a couple of Indian startups before cracking UPSC and qualifying for the civil services. He soon left his job with the government to work on HumBee.
Siddhartha: A graduate from IIT Bombay and co-author of 2 patents who has worked in one of the biggest tech companies of the world.
Internship Role: Political Content Intern
Job description:
The work would include
1) Finding and Curating interesting political content from around the internet
2) Creating simple summaries of trending political news
3) Writing original articles and blogs on topics related to politics
4) Analyzing political news and creating content to help users understand the news better
Looking for people with a mastery of English and exceptionally good writing skills. An interest in politics and a knowledge of political affairs is definitely a bonus!

Duration: 2 months; April 1st to May 31st (dates flexible)
Work days and timing: Flexible
Location: Work from Home
Stipend: Unpaid
Preferred Courses/Years: Open to all courses/all years
Certificates will be given to those selected for the internship.

4) Email ID
5) Name of College
The deadline to submit applications would be 25th March, 10 pm.
Candidates will be shortlisted after the 25th of March based on their applications.A phone interview will be conducted for the shortlisted ones. The candidates selected for the internship will be intimated via phone/mail.
