Associate Editor

Cactus Communications is looking for Associate Editors in all fields of Physical Sciences and Life Sciences. We have openings in the following streams: physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, geology, IT, life sciences, microbiology, botany, zoology, biotechnology, and biochemistry. We offer in-house (work-from-office) and telecommute (work-from-home) opportunities. 

What you will do  Help researchers improve the language and clarity of their documents and ensure that they comply with style and format requirements.  Manage deadlines and ensure high quality standards  Review assignments done by editors and provide feedback

 What you need  A degree (bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, etc.) in any of the following: physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, geology, IT, life sciences, microbiology, botany, zoology, biotechnology, and biochemistry  Ability to multitask and work under tight timelines  Ability to review and critique scientific literature  Excellent written English skills and attention to detail  Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
